Process Engineer -Etch

Job Summary:
As an Etch Process Engineer at the200mm ON Semiconductor in Northeast Pennsylvania, you will have the opportunity to develop and supportsemiconductor manufacturing processing in the 24x7 manufacturing of wafers usedfor Automotive and Consumer applications throughout the world. You will alsoprovide process engineering support for additional process areas. In this teambased environment, you will work closely with Device, Process and DesignEngineers to provide robust, quality products to our customers.
Performance Objectives:
The successful candidate will have theopportunity to:
Own critical processes in afast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment.
Apply technical skills to implementequipment and process improvements that increase product performance, reducecost and increase manufacturing capacity and yield.
Design and document experimentsutilizing engineering methodology to improve yield, cost, and capacity.
Resolve complex, time sensitive technicalproblems to maintain production or development schedules.
Make decisions using data analysis and statistical process control.(SPC) techniques.
Within the first three to six months,you will be expected to:
Provide dailyprocess and product lot disposition support at Mountaintop Fab 8.
Own critical plasma etch, wet etch, and resist strip, processes in a 24/7manufacturing environment.
Provide experienced process engineering support in at least one area of etchprocessing.
Lead at least one project that contributes to Mountaintop goals for costreduction, yield improvement and throughput.
Within the first six to twelvemonths, you will be expected to:
Design and document detailed experiments to improve yield and consistency ofequipment and processes; make skilleddecisions using statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
Resolve complex, time sensitive technical problems to maintain production ordevelopment schedules.
Working with other engineers and technicians, provide process engineeringleadership in at least one aspect of etch process engineering.
Develop advanced sustaining responsibilities and contribute to cost reduction,yield improvement and production capacity increases.
Support development of new technologies, products and processes introduced intothe etch area.

Bachelor or Master's Degree inChemical, Material Science, Physics, or Semiconductor engineering from an accreditedengineering program.
Demonstrated experience with plasmaetch processing required, with a minimum of 5 -10 years wafer fab manufacturingexperience desired. Previous ownershipof plasma silicon, oxide and wet bench etch processes is preferred, but notrequired. Process integration experienceis a plus.
Experience in training andapplied experience with statistical software and/or experimental design.
A self-starter witha history of project completion from previous work experience, with a focus on applicationof engineering methods. Six Sigmaexperience or training is a plus.
Strong communicator, who caneffectively work with a team of manufacturing operators, equipment and process technicians as well as other engineersto achieve overall department improvement.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
